The Series X Generation 3 (G3) widescreen display range builds on a proven professional maritime platform, delivering a reliable, long-life monitor solution designed for demanding shipboard installations. Developed in accordance with Hatteland Technology’s FormFit principle, the G3 retains the physical dimensions and mounting characteristics of earlier generations, allowing straightforward retrofitting and seamless system upgrades without modification to existing installations.

The G3 advances a familiar and trusted concept with updated internal electronics, including a modernized I/O architecture and video scaling performance, while preserving the established operational behavior of the Series X range. The physical user interface, SCOM connectivity, and factory configuration options remain consistent, ensuring continuity across systems and reducing integration effort for both new builds and refits.

Designed with full backward compatibility in mind, the G3 enables smooth migration from Generation 2 displays through a wide selection of adapter cables and expansion options. This approach protects existing investments while introducing expanded connectivity to support contemporary and future display requirements.

The 24-inch model is based on a widescreen LED-backlit TFT panel with MVA technology, delivering Full HD resolution at 1920 x 1080 in a 16:9 format. High contrast, wide viewing angles, and support for a broad range of input resolutions ensure clear, stable imagery across navigation, automation, and monitoring applications. Dimmable backlighting from 0–100% allows reliable operation in varying ambient light conditions.

Multi-power AC and DC operation is supported, and user interaction is provided through the integrated Glass Display Control™ (GDC) system behind the front bezel. The IP66-rated interface offers access to power, brightness adjustment, on-screen menus, status indicators, buzzer, and light sensor functionality while maintaining a sealed, robust front surface. A comprehensive selection of modern and legacy interfaces including DisplayPort, HDMI, USB-C, VGA, Ethernet, and serial connectivity provide the flexibility required to combine data sources, control signals, and system management within a single, dependable display platform.

Together, these features position the Series X G3 24-inch display as a natural evolution of the Generation 2 range: familiar in form and operation, yet prepared to meet the connectivity and performance demands of today’s type-approved marine systems.
