The Series X Generation 3 (G3) Slim display range extends a proven professional maritime monitor platform with a larger widescreen format optimized for modern bridge and control room installations. Developed in line with Hatteland Technology’s FormFit principle, the G3 Slim retains the physical footprint and mounting characteristics of earlier generations, enabling straightforward retrofitting and system upgrades while preserving existing console layouts.

The G3 Slim evolves a familiar and trusted display concept with updated internal electronics, including an enhanced I/O architecture and video scaling performance, while maintaining the established operating behavior of the Series X range. The physical user interface, SCOM connectivity, and factory configuration options are carried forward to ensure consistency across installations and reduce integration effort for both new builds and refits.

Full backward compatibility has been prioritized to support a smooth transition from Generation 2 systems. A wide range of adapter cables and expansion options allows the G3 Slim to integrate easily with legacy equipment while introducing expanded connectivity to meet current and future system requirements.

Based on a 27-inch widescreen LED-backlit TFT panel with active-matrix technology, the display delivers Full HD resolution at 1920 x 1080 in a 16:9 aspect ratio. Fast response times, high contrast, and wide viewing angles provide clear, stable imagery for navigation, automation, surveillance, and monitoring applications. Dimmable backlighting from 0–100% supports reliable operation across varying ambient light conditions on the bridge.

The display supports multi-power AC and DC input and features Glass Display Control™ (GDC) integrated behind the front bezel. The IP66-rated interface provides access to power, brightness adjustment, on-screen menus, status indicators, buzzer, and light sensor functionality, all while maintaining a sealed and robust front surface. A comprehensive selection of modern and legacy interfaces, including DisplayPort, HDMI, USB-C, VGA, Ethernet, and serial connectivity, ensures the flexibility required to combine multiple data sources, control signals, and system management functions within a single, dependable display platform.

Together, these capabilities position the Series X G3 27-inch Slim display as a natural evolution of the Generation 2 platform: familiar in form and operation, yet equipped to support the performance and connectivity demands of today’s type-approved marine systems.
