CommercialARP11 ARPA is not functioning with NavNet network
Question
I installed the ARP11 auto radar plotter board in my NavNet display but it is not functioning, nor is it recognized by the NavNet network. What steps should I take in order to get the ARP11 to function and be recognized by the NavNet network?
Solution
You will need to confirm the ARP11 auto radar plotter setup is correct on the NavNet display that the ARP11 is installed in. Please follow these steps.
1. Display the full radar screen by pressing the DISP button.
2. Rotate the selector knob to highlight the radar icon and press rotary/enter knob.
3. Rotate the selector knob to highlight the full screen radar icon and press [rotary/enter knob] to complete the selection.
4. Press the MENU button.
5. Select ARP SETUP from the softkey menu and confirm INTERNAL ARP is selected. If not press EDIT soft key and select INTERNAL ARP using the rotary knob.
6. Confirm that all NavNet displays in the network also have INTERNAL ARP selected by following the procedures listed above.
NOTE: This is the correct configuration even though the ARP11 is located only in one display.
