CommercialRD30 not displaying smart sensor depth and temp
Question
I have an RD30 connected to a 235DHT-MSE "Smart Sensor" transducer to provide Temperature and Depth. I am not receiving data on the RD30, only dashed lines. What is wrong with my unit?
Solution
It sounds as if there is no power supplied to the Smart Sensor. The Smart Sensor requires voltage in order to operate, and this can be supplied from the RD30 display. Please follow the steps below to set your unit up properly.
1) Press [Menu] key to access the main menu.
2) From the main menu, select I/O SETUP and press [ENT]
3) Select POWER OUT option and press [ENT].
4) Select ON option and press [ENT].
5) Press [Menu] key to return to normal operation.
