Input supply voltages for Ethernet hubs

​Most Ethernet hubs will specify 7.5 volts DC for input supply voltage which is the most common input voltage used on hubs for land based applications.  However, Furuno has done extensive testing on many hubs, both in the lab and in the field. We have found that most off the shelf hubs work fine at 12vdc.
