Fixing incorrect date, time and GPS position on a GP32

​I have a GP32 and the actual position on the screen was flashing. I noticed that the receiver was not working. I checked the antenna connections and they seemed okay. I went in and restored everything in the unit to the default settings. Now it will not display the correct date and time or GPS position. The receiver is stuck at 38 degrees north and 128 degrees west. What can I do to fix this problem?

​From your description, it appears as though your GP32 is not receiving satellites. First you should check the satellite screen in the menu and see if it shows any satellites. If it does not, check your GPS antenna connector. If the connector looks good, then I would suspect the GPS antenna rather than the display. You can have a dealer look at the GPS or send it to Furuno's repair facility for evaluation.
