Correcting local time miscalculation for GP7000F

​The GP7000/F is capable of displaying the local time in either 12 hour AM/PM or 24-hour 24:00 format.
 
Here are the steps to follow for setup:
 
1. Power on the GP7000/F normally
 
2. Press MENU key, select GENERAL using the rotary/enter control and press to confirm
 
3. Select TIME REFERENCE using the rotary-enter control and press to open
 
4. Use rotary-enter control to select 00:00 and press to change
 
5. Use the cursor control to select the appropriate character and the rotary-enter control to change the value Example: for a negative 5 hour offset change the value to - 05:00.
 
6. When completed press the SAVE soft key at the bottom of the display
 
7. Select TIME FORMAT and change if required using the rotary/enter control
 
8. Press MENU key to exit
