No bottom return on FCV292

Question
I have no bottom return on my FCV292. Is there something wrong with my transducer?
Solution
Generally a transducer is not faulty. We recommend that you check your transducer set-up first. There is a menu selection that allows a minimum transducer transmission level. Check SYSTEM MENU 1 by following the procedure below:
1. Press and hold any button (continue holding about 5 seconds) while turning the unit on
2. Press the + button to select system menu
3. Press the DOWN ARROW button to select TX POWER
4. Press + button to highlight MAX
5. Turn unit off and back on again
If the above procedure does not correct the problem, perform a master reset by following the steps listed below:
1. Press and hold any button continue holding about 5 seconds while turning the unit on
2. When the menu appears, press the UP ARROW button
3. Turn power off
4. Turn power on
If this does not correct the problem, check the transducer connections. Should the problem persist, please contact an authorized Furuno USA representative.
