Question
Can the NavNet 3D MFD convert data back and forth between NMEA2000 and NMEA0183?
Solution
The NMEA0183 sentences and NMEA2000 PGNs that are used and accepted in the system can be converted and output with either both NMEA0183 NMEA2000 formats except for the engine data which is input only. Note only one of the same types of data can be output at a time one position, one depth, one heading. Example: If two sounders are connected to the network, only the sounder data that is currently being displayed can be output from the MFD.
