Furuno has been awarded four more NMEA Product Of Excellence Awards, bringing its total to a record-setting 261.

 

West Palm Beach, FL - Furuno is proud to announce it was honored with four Product of Excellence awards at the latest NMEA (National Marine Electronics Association) honors. These accolades recognize Furuno’s industry leadership and innovation in marine electronics, with their growing total of NMEA Product of Excellence awards since 1971 now standing at an industry record of 261.

Furuno’s newly spotlighted CSH10 Full-Circle Scanning Sonar was recognized as the best Omni Sonar, a win that underscores the model’s industry-leading breakthrough technologies like independent beam stabilization, Target Lock, Fish Quantity Mark, and a helpful on-screen tilt indicator, as well as total compatibility with the NavNet TZtouchXL line of MFDs (Multi-Function Displays).

For the eighth consecutive year, Furuno’s DRS4DNXT Solid State Doppler Radar captured the top spot in the Radar category. This compact 24" radome Radar includes advanced technologies such as Target Analyzer™, Fast Target Tracking, and RezBoost™ beam sharpening.

In the Commercial products category, Furuno’s FAR2228NXTBB Radar was honored once again. This 600W IMO-compliant Solid State Doppler Radar offers functions such as Automatic Clutter Elimination (ACE), Fast Target Tracking, and a lighter, more efficient mechanical design that minimizes drag and maintenance demands.

Furuno’s CSH8LMK2 was once again recognized, taking home the award for Live Sonar and reinforcing its reputation among tournament anglers and commercial operations alike. The CSH8LMK2 offers fast, reliable full-circle scanning coverage, with real-time detection of fish and structure in all directions around the vessel.
