The Deep-Sea Product Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting Furuno USA’s commercial marine electronics product line by developing and managing high-quality technical content, training materials, and product support documentation. This position serves as a key resource for internal staff, dealers, and customers, ensuring they have access to accurate, up-to-date information and tools to effectively install, operate, and troubleshoot Furuno Deep Sea products as well as Special Products Fisheries Group (SPFG) products.
In collaboration with technical managers, trainers, and product teams, the Product Specialist will identify recurring product and customer support needs, translate technical concepts into clear, engaging resources (including multimedia), and maintain Furuno’s digital content platforms. This role also contributes to technical training, assists with product integration and improvement initiatives, and supports project management tasks such as quotations, documentation control, and service bulletin coordination.
This is a highly autonomous and cross-functional position requiring strong technical acumen, clear communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Expertise: Become the in-house expert on our Deep-Sea and Special Products & Fisheries (SPFG) product lines.
- Content Creation: Develop technical documents, user guides, service bulletins, and multimedia content like training videos.
- Training: Partner with Deep Sea Managers to deliver training sessions for staff, dealers, and customers.
- Technical Support: Provide expert assistance to dealers and customers, with a focus on installation and troubleshooting.
- Project Support: Assist with project management tasks, including quotations and service bulletin coordination.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We're looking for someone with 2+ years of experience with Furuno products and 2–4 years of experience in a related technical field. A strong understanding of marine navigation systems, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset are essential.

PTO accrual increases with years of service. 3.33 hours of disability bank hours accrued monthly with a maximum benefit of 240 hours. 10 paid holidays annually. Salary range = $30.96/hr. to $42.38/Hr.
