NavNet plotter shows a red line from west coast to east coast
I am located on the east coast however when I power on the NavNet display it shows a red line from the west coast to a easterly direction. Can this line be removed?
The NavNet has a provision to set a local latitude/longitude position if a BBGPS or a BBWGPS is used. The BBGPS or BBWGPS defaults to a west coast latitude/longitude until a good fix is acquired. Check the installation manual for further instructions on changing the settings to a local default area position. This will eliminate the red track line. If an external GPS is used the problem will not occur because the NavNet display will not show a position until the GPS system supplies a good fix.
